     Mr. W.F. "Bill" Faust, 77 of North Union Avenue, Ozark, died Tuesday evening, March 18, 2003. He was 77.
     Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 21 at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Wayne Helms officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dale County Library, 416 James St., Ozark, Ala. 36360.
     Mr. Faust was a native of Ozark. He served in the United States Navy and in the United States Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater on the USS Tennessee. He taught at Emory University and Cobb County High School, moving back to Ozark in the early 1960s. He taught at Dale County High School for more than 20 years, retiring in the 1980s. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, looking after his farm, forestry. He was the author of the book "Fishing the Gulf Coastal Streams". He was an avid exerciser, walking every morning and evening. 
     He was preceded in death by one brother, Bryan Faust. 
     Survivors include his sister, Sue Hollis of Scottsboro; one nephew, Michael Hollis and his wife, Janet of Huntsville.
